Position Overview:
We seek a passionate and flexible Substitute Dance Instructor to join our esteemed team. The ideal candidate will possess significant experience in dance and a strong background in teaching various dance styles. In the capacity of Substitute Dance Instructor, you will be responsible for providing continuity of instruction in the absence of our regular instructors, ensuring that our students receive high-quality education.

We are committed to fostering a positive, engaging, and safe learning environment for all participants. In this role, you will play a critical part in upholding this environment, ensuring our students feel secure and comfortable. This position is part-time and operates on an on-call basis.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct dance classes in accordance with the curriculum and lesson plans provided.
- Adapt instruction to meet the varying skill levels and needs of students.
- Communicate effectively with students and staff regarding class expectations and progress.
- Collaborate with other instructors to meet the overall goals of the dance program.
- Maintain a high standard of professionalism and enthusiasm in every class.

Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in various dance styles (ballet, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, etc.).
- Previous teaching experience preferred, especially in a dance studio or educational setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students of all ages.
- Flexibility to cover classes on short notice.
- Knowledge of dance safety and injury prevention practices.
- Access to a computer, webcam, and quiet space to teach classes.
